Hey, thanks for tuning in to another Partner Interview at EcomBalance. At EcomBalance, we’re all about creating win-win partnerships where we are able to grow with other companies in the ecommerce space.

In this exclusive interview, we have a conversation with Vova Even from VovaEven.com.

Vova shares free Amazon FBA information on his blog and on his YouTube and Udemy channels. They’re all based on his own experience as an Amazon seller.

Connor: Hey Vova, thanks for taking the time to chat with us today. As a company, one of our goals is to highlight our partners so that our clients can benefit where it makes most sense. To get started, can you give us a high-level introduction to VovaEven.com and a little bit about how the company got started?

Vova: Hey, thanks for having me. Yeah, sure! I started selling on Amazon in 2016. After about 2 years in the game I had a thought; what if suddenly things don’t go well with the shop on Amazon? What will I do then? What if it all goes to 0? So I decided to get another income stream, by sharing my knowledge in the Amazon space and monetizing it. It started from some consulting services, then Amazon listing creation services and course, until finally I decided to share all know for completely free, while monetizing my content through affiliate marketing.

Connor: Thanks for sharing that! Can you dive a bit more into the content and e-learning resources you offer? Our audience is always looking for reputable companies that they can lean on for specific parts of their eCommerce businesses.

Vova: Sure! To date I’ve created over 800+ videos on YouTube, all in the Amazon FBA space. My main YouTube channel is in English, but I also share information in Russian and Hebrew languages. I have close to 20 free courses on Udemy, as well as some Facebook and Telegram groups for sellers. People can learn for free, in their own pace. It’s all based on my own experience as a seller, and the experience of my friends that are also sellers or were sellers at some point. I also love hosting companies that help sellers in different ways.

Connor: Jumping off of that…when you’re thinking about your ideal customer, who is that? Where are they selling online? Where are they located in the world? How much sales do they typically have in a year? If there’s any other qualities, please include them as well. We’re all about making introductions where it benefits both parties.

Vova: My ideal customer is either a person who wants to start selling, or a seller that’s already in the game and needs help. They are located all over the world. Sales range is between 0 (haven’t started yet), to any size of seller, I have solutions and partners for any kind of sellers, or any need of a seller.

Connor: For our audience to truly understand what makes you stand out from other companies in e-learning and content creation, can you share a story of how VovaEven.com truly helped one of its customers?

Vova: Yeah, we are doing it all for free, forever. We are not going to introduce any paid products, and we won’t ever have a paid wall to reach any of our content, even the most secret stuff is there for free.

We do it with love and care for each person that comes in contact with us or our content. Our doors are always open. The goal is to give anyone, anywhere in the world a chance at ecommerce and entrepreneurship, without them having to pay us. We’d rather have people invest money into buying products to sell, so they can grow their own wealth.

Connor: As you and your company think about the next year ahead, what does it look like? Are there any specific initiatives that you’re working on as a team to better your products for your customers?

Vova: We’d love to create more content while making it even better. We are now working on duplicating our content at our blog to new languages, such as Russian, Ukrainian, and Hebrew.

Connor: How about this…everyone loves a company’s growth story. We all naturally go through ups and downs as a company. What was one of the biggest challenges that the company faced in its growing stages?

Vova: The biggest challenge was staying consistent with producing quality content. It was hard to understand what people would love to watch. So we just started creating, and then saw what worked, did more of that, while adding new types of content. Some content didn’t work at all, and some stuff surprised us with good results.

Connor: Thanks! Let’s talk some eCommerce! Where do you see the industry heading in the next 1-2 years? Any big changes that you’re predicting for the industry? How can eCommerce companies prepare for it?

Vova: I believe it will keep growing. I am currently in Manali, India. I was here first 8 years ago, and I am not sure if Amazon was delivering stuff here. Now I can get it fast to the door of my room at the guesthouse. People order stuff online daily. It’s a habit for us now, and it’s becoming faster and more convenient.

Connor: Changing gears a little bit…When it comes to bookkeeping and accounting, what do you think the biggest pain points for eCommerce business owners are? Feel free to speak from personal experience as well.

Vova: I believe it’s actually keeping all the records right to the last transaction. Documents might get lost, we might get lazy with collecting them all.

Connor: Okay, here’s an open mic opportunity. If there’s one thing that you’d want the EcomBalance community to hear from you, what would it be?

Vova: Keep going, you can do it. Just remember to take things easy. Take care of your physical and mental health. Talk to likeminded people. Enjoy the journey, you’ve got it!

Connor: As we close this out, I just have one more question. Where is the best place to find and follow you and the company online? Also, if you have one, is there any special offer that you’ll be offering to the community today?

Vova: You’ll find me at https://vovaeven.com/ – go to the about section, and you’ll find links to all our communities, and resources on the internet. My special offer is free time over Zoom, just reach out, say you came via this blog post, and I’ll gladly find time to help you with anything you need. It’d be my pleasure!
