In this exclusive interview, we have a conversation with Izabela Hamilton from RankBell.

Connor: Hey Izabela, thanks for taking the time to chat with us here. Izabela: Thank you so much for having me here. It is always a pleasure speaking with beautiful souls and hard core entrepreneurs. 🙂 I like this new format of interviewing and can’t wait to read all your future interviews.

I am proud to share the story of how my company came to be. It all started in 2015 when I was first introduced to the world of Amazon selling. I was immediately drawn to the potential of creating a good living by those selling products on the platform and was thrilled to see almost instant results with my early clients using RankBell as a growth tool. This excitement, combined with the satisfaction of helping others succeed, gave me the much-needed adrenaline rush to pursue this venture further.

In the beginning, RankBell was a small operation with just a few clients. But through word-of-mouth marketing and a commitment to delivering quality service, we quickly gained recognition in the ecom space and started attracting more and more sellers from all over the world. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with thousands of sellers, some of whom are still with us today, while others have moved on to new ventures.

One thing that stands out to me about this journey is the impact that our sellers have made on people’s lives. By bringing quality products into homes, they have not only created financial freedom for themselves and their families, but also made a positive difference in the lives of others. This has been the driving force behind RankBell and what continues to inspire me every day. RankBell has come a long way since its humble beginnings. Connor: That’s awesome! Can you dive a bit more into the market analytics services you offer? I’m sure our audience would love to know exactly what problems you could solve for them.

Connor: Jumping off of that…if there was one problem you’d say that RankBell solves best for your clients, what would it be? Why?

Being on page 2 or beyond can greatly decrease the chances of reaching potential customers and making sales. Connor: As the company continues to grow over the next year, what are your plans for expansion? Any new products, services, or enhancements to your current services?

Izabela: Well, you could say we’re old-fashioned at RankBell. We’ve always offered the same service, just constantly improving it over time. Izabela: I see my life as a series of experiences, or “buckets,” if you will. One of these buckets includes my childhood in Romania, where I learned the value of hard work and perseverance. Another is my time in the US, where I held various jobs and built up my knowledge and connections.

But the “bucket” that has had the biggest impact on my life is my involvement with Amazon. Amazon came to me by chance and I always tell people I didn’t find Amazon, Amazon found me. It was just aligned with my life at that time and I stuck with it. I’ve never experienced a sense of community and support like the one I’ve found within the Amazon world, and it’s what has kept me engaged and invested in this career for so long. What I discovered in the Amazon community is a feeling of belonging and purpose that I’ve never felt before. The support and camaraderie within this community is truly unmatched, and I’m proud to be a part of it. It definitely has its super tough moments but overall, I am super happy with how my life turned out and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Connor: Love it! Talking more about the eCommerce industry, where do you see it going in the next 1-2 years? Any unique predictions that you could share?

Izabela: One of the key trends in the eCommerce space in the next 1-2 years is going to be the increasing importance of product analysis and optimization. With more and more businesses launching on Amazon, the competition is getting more intense and it’s becoming difficult to stand out. This is where our product analysis service comes in. By using our service, brands can not only gain visibility and get to page 1 of Amazon, but also get a deep understanding of their target market, their competition, and what consumers think of their product. This information is invaluable in helping brands make informed decisions about product development, launch strategies, and ongoing optimization efforts. As a result, Amazon sellers that invest in product analysis will have a much better chance of success on the platform, and we predict that this trend will continue to grow as the marketplace continues to evolve. The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning will also play a big role in optimizing the customer journey and predicting customer needs.

Connor: Giving you an open mic for a minute, what is something you’d want the EcomBalance audience to hear?

Izabela: As someone who has had a rich and diverse life experience, I’ve come to understand that success in life is not just about money or material things. Yes, those things can bring temporary happiness, but true and lasting fulfillment comes from within. Love, self-reflection, and a deep connection with our own inner selves are the keys to a life well lived. This is not just a personal belief, but a concept that has been echoed throughout history and across cultures.

Meditation, mindfulness, and taking the time to connect with our own inner selves can help us gain a greater understanding of what truly brings us joy and happiness. This self-awareness allows us to focus on what truly matters in life, and to let go of the things that do not serve us. It allows us to be present in each moment, to appreciate the simple things in life, and to find peace and contentment no matter what life throws our way.

Money and material things can never replace the sense of purpose, meaning, and joy that comes from connecting with our own inner selves. So, if I could offer just one piece of advice to the EcomBalance community, it would be to prioritize love, self-reflection, and personal growth above all else. These things will bring you a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction that no amount of money or success could ever match.


Connor: Changing gears a little bit…When it comes to bookkeeping and accounting, what do you think the biggest pain points for business owners are? Feel free to speak from personal experience as well.

Izabela: As someone who has been in the business world for many years, I have seen firsthand the challenges that many business owners face when it comes to bookkeeping and accounting. One of the biggest pain points is undoubtedly the time and effort it takes to keep track of all the financial transactions and ensure that everything is in order. This can be especially difficult for small business owners who are already stretched thin and don’t have the resources to hire a dedicated accountant.

Another common challenge is the lack of knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, which can lead to costly mistakes and missed opportunities. For example, not having a proper understanding of tax laws and regulations can result in overpaying on taxes, or not taking advantage of deductions and credits that could save the business money.
