Hey, thanks for tuning in to another Partner Interview at EcomBalance. At EcomBalance, we’re all about creating win-win partnerships where we are able to grow with other companies in the ecommerce space.

In this exclusive interview, we have a conversation with Isaiah Fritz from Online Selling Partner.

Every solution starts with a problem. Isaiah’s was simple, being a top seller on Amazon shouldn’t be so hard. In 2015, he set out on a mission to help customers navigate Amazon’s complex selling platform. With a strategy in place, they’ve helped partners (businesses) grow their brand and revenue by leveraging years of ecommerce experience.

As a result of that solution, their partners have rapidly grown. Fast forward years later and Online Selling Partner is an invitation only partner supporting brands across America with the mission to give endless ecommerce selling opportunities.

Connor: Hey Isaiah, thanks for taking the time to chat with us here. We love getting to know our partners better so that our community can benefit from what our partners are offering and doing in the industry. To get started, can you give us a high level overview of Online Selling Partner (OSP) and how it got started?

Isaiah: Online Selling Partner started from me as a reselling partner, buying stuff from yard sales etc. Then I ended up doing liquidation, and realized that I wasn’t bringing any value to anyone – there was no value to the brand.

To fix this, we went directly to the brands saying “hey, Amazon is not your focus. We can control it for you”. We’ll buy the inventory from them and we sell them directly on Amazon while we’re doing all the marketing, advertising, and everything else that goes into running a successful Amazon business.

Connor: That’s awesome! Can you dive a bit more into the marketing and account management services you offer? I’m sure our audience would love to know exactly what problems you could solve for them.

Isaiah: We can solve every Amazon issue. That is our goal and we do it all for free. We just buy the product and sell it directly on Amazon. We serve as Account Managers directly for your brand that is with you 24/7. The only goal is to help you sell more product.

Connor: Jumping off of that…if there was one problem you’d say that OSP solves best for your clients, what would it be? Why?

Isaiah: Simply put – controlling and growing Amazon, making it just a turn-key solution for your Amazon business.

Connor: As the company continues to grow over the next year, what are your plans for expansion? Any new products, services, or enhancements to your current products?

Isaiah: We want to continue to grow into other marketplaces across the world. Right now we’re focused on the US and Canada market. And as we grow, we’re gonna continue to add external marketing going to Amazon, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, etc.

Connor: And how specifically would you say that OSP and your team is different from other similar businesses in the industry?

Isaiah: A lot of businesses in the industry are agencies, they focus on one thing. We’re just a turn-key solution, and we become truly a channel partner for your brand.

Connor: What made you decide to get involved providing marketing and account management services? What’s your starting eCommerce story? From what we’ve found, a lot of business owners in the same space have fun stories of how they first started…

Isaiah: I am the oldest of 9 children, and my mom always had these side hustles on Ebay, she’s been selling there since ‘98. I grew up around it and thought that I wanted to take this ecommerce thing to the next level.

Connor: Love it! Talking more about the eCommerce industry, where do you see it going in the next 1-2 years? Any unique predictions that you could share?

Isaiah: I see that advertising costs are going up and the competition is going up. Both of those things are going to result to more Chinese sellers selling online, and what you’ll really want to focus on is growing your brand and making sure that consumers are buying your products because of your brand and you’re not just selling the next ‘rubber ducky’ on the platform.

Connor: Giving you an open mic for a minute, what is something you’d want the EcomBalance audience to hear?

Isaiah: Make sure that through any of your business ventures, you take the time to sit back and think, “what am I doing for others? How in my business am I helping other people? How in my family am I helping other people? How, in my personal life, am I helping other people?”

At the end of the day, the most rewarding thing is to help others. Just being there to make a bunch of money is so unfulfilling. When you turn 80 and look back in your life, you’ll find that people who care for you will only remember how you’ve helped others and not how much money you made.

Connor: Changing gears a little bit…When it comes to bookkeeping and accounting, what do you think the biggest pain points for business owners are? Feel free to speak from personal experience as well.

Isaiah: Most business owners are not accountants. I know a few, but most are not. A lot of business owners are creatives and entrepreneurs and they want to focus on making the money and not counting the money. I highly recommend that you get a very good bookkeeping/accounting service because I know plenty of business owners that have gotten into big-time trouble because they did not have that part in trusted hands.

Connor: As we close this out, I just have one more question. Where is the best place to find and follow you and the company online? Also, if you have one, is there any special offer that you’ll be offering to the community today?

Answer: The best place to find us is on our website. You can also visit my LinkedIn, I’m also on X. Keep following us, we’d love to share our journey with you and we’d love to offer our services, we do it for free, and we’d love for you to apply for an invitation to work with us if it makes sense to you.
