Hey, thanks for tuning in to another Partner Interview at EcomBalance. At EcomBalance, we’re all about creating win-win partnerships where we are able to grow with other companies in the eCommerce space.

In this exclusive interview, we interview Danielle Zalniker together with Ian Kaneshiro & Adrian Rich from Seller Snap.

Seller Snap offers a fully automated, AI-powered Game Theory Amazon Repricer and Analytics Tool. Our AI Algorithmic Repricer will apply the optimum strategy for each individual listing to maximize profit while avoiding price wars. Our technology is capable of detecting the behavior of a specific competitor and making tailored price adjustments to outsmart that competitor.

We hope that you enjoy the interview and that it brings value to you as an eCommerce business owner.

Connor: Hey Danielle, Ian and Adrian, thanks for taking the time to chat with us here. We love getting to know our partners better so that our community can benefit from what our partners are offering and doing in the industry. To get started, can you give us a high level overview of Seller Snap and how it got started?

Danielle: Seller Snap offers a fully automated, AI-powered Amazon Repricer and Analytics Tool. Seller Snap was born after identifying obstacles with existing repricing solutions that stunted sellers from really reaching their full potential. That is why we developed a leading AI algorithmic repricer, combined with strong seller analytics.

Connor: That’s awesome! Can you dive a bit more into the products and services that you offer? I’m sure our audience would love to know exactly what problems you could solve for them in the Amazon world.

Danielle: The AI repricer was designed to tactically outsmart your competitors. Our learning algorithm analyzes thousands of price decisions every minute to detect the behavior of your competitors. Our AI repricer then automatically selects the optimal strategy to outsmart your competition, while avoiding price wars. Seller Snap’s repricer is driven by Game Theory principles, we apply a cooperative strategy to secure your entitled Buy Box share and maximize profits.

Connor: Jumping off of that…if there was one problem you’d say that Seller Snap solves best for your Amazon customers, what would it be? Why?

Danielle: The AI repricer avoids the typical “race to the botom” behavior, resulting in sharing the Buy Box at a sellers minimum price. Our repricer will seek out the optimal strategy for each listing, gaining a seller their fair share of the Buy Box, while maintaining a high price. Seller Snap saves our users time, avoids price wars and maximizes profits.

Connor: As the company continues to grow over the next year, what are your plans for expansion? Any new products or offerings or enhancements to your current repricing products?

Adrian: At its core, Seller Snap is a repricing and analytics platform. We think it is important to focus our energies on this essential technological puzzle piece, rather than delve into complementary products or services that distract from our focus. With that in mind, considering the huge growth in the private label space and on other reputable marketplaces, there has never been a better time to be in profit maximization, and we intend to make sure our customers are supported wherever they compete… Watch this space.

Connor: And how specifically would you say that Seller Snap and your team is different from other repricing software in the industry?

Danielle: Seller Snap’s philosophy is centered around providing sellers with real value and expert insight into the ever-changing business of selling on Amazon. That is why we assembled a group of multi-talented individuals who are passionate about the evolving Amazon space. Our customer-centric team is invested in the growth of our customers and we work hard at creating an environment of learning and collaboration with Amazon sellers at many different stages of their Amazon journeys.

Connor: What made Seller Snap decide to get involved in the space? What’s your starting eCommerce story? From what we’ve found, a lot of business owners in the space have fun stories of how they first started…

Ian: Seller Snap was started by three friends Eli, Yuval, and Josh all coming from the e-commerce space, joining forces to provide Amazon Sellers a tool that thinks like a human. For a long time, sellers used repricers that were using very rigid rules that were inflexible. Seller Snap’s AI allows sellers to take a step back from repricing and get back to the parts of the business they know best.

Connor: Love it! Talking more about the eCommerce and Amazon industry, where do you see it going in the next 1-2 years? Any unique predictions that you could share?

Adrian: Don’t quote me, but we are just seeing the beginning of the marketplace wars. With Amazon’s new BuyWithPrime feature permitting third-party websites to check out with Amazon, and Walmart’s third-party fulfillment up 500% on the previous year – there is no doubt competition doesn’t only exist for the Buy Box. It may not seem overtly impactful from the outset, but if competition is hot at the macro level, then third-party sellers can expect to feel the heat on a micro-level too. With fees and competition increasing, there is no doubt that bottom lines will be impacted across the board. That’s good for buyers, but sellers will need to ensure that they make data-driven buying decisions, and use the correct profit maximization tech stack. Profit may be made in the margin, but the margin is shrinking.

Connor: Giving you an open mic for a minute, what is something you’d want the EcomBalance audience to hear?

Danielle: We are continually working on new updates and feature releases to provide our customers with a top performing AI repricing software. Some of our latest features includes our Advertising Data feature, where users can incorporate Advertising Data into the Seller Snap Platform, along with our Customizable Columns feature, allowing users to create up to 5 customizable columns that can be used in their listing table.

Connor: Changing gears a little bit…When it comes to bookkeeping and accounting, what do you think the biggest pain points for Amazon business owners are? Feel free to speak from personal experience as well.

Answer:

Ian: Bookkeeping is one of the most difficult parts of operating a business. Depending on the size of the operation, each company will need a different level of accounting activities that require certain expertise. So, the biggest pain point is deciding on the process to accomplish the accounting goals. Do we hire a software solution that will still need to be maintained by a real person? Do we hire an outside party or consultant to handle everything end-to-end? Especially for Amazon businesses, many find themselves working during high rates of growth. More growth mean more expenses, complicating all bookkeeping activities. It is important to start to think ahead by creating the framework of the financials of the business.

Connor: As we close this out, I just have one more question. Where is the best place to find and follow you and the company online? Also, if you have one, is there any special offer that you’ll be offering to the community today?

Danielle: You can learn more about Seller Snap by visiting our website at www.sellersnap.io. We share more in-depth insight on the capabilities and features of our AI repricer.
